The journey of Apollo Inffratech Group began with the dream of entrepreneurs in construction equipment industry in India with a vision to create nation’s biggest concrete construction equipment manufacturing company. After finishing his B.E. (Electronics) from Pennsylvania State University, USA, he went on to join his family business in India. Under the guardianship of his father Mr. Ajit Patel and companionship of cousins, his apprenticeship at their road construction equipment manufacturing units in the hometown of Mehsana (North Gujarat) began in 2003. With an increasing demand for infrastructure development, the role of concrete road construction equipment has become crucial in ensuring durability and efficiency in modern construction.
However, his dream was different. He wanted to carve his own path and replicate the success story of his previous generation. Armed with an engineering degree and hands on experience, he was geared up to take the plunge in relatively unknown waters of Concrete Equipment Manufacturing. With the help of his father, he floated a company called Apollo Inffratech Pvt. Ltd (AIPL) in 2008 with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Over the years, Apollo Inffratech has built a strong presence among road construction equipment manufacturers in India, offering high-quality and reliable products.
Apollo Inffratech has built innumerous batching plants of various capacities working satisfactorily in every parts of the country, even in Nepal, Afghanistan, Africa, Sri Lanka, Israel, and Middle East. Concrete pump, transit mixer, and mobile batching plants were also added to his portfolio. Business grew by leaps and bounds. Opened branches, service and sparehubs and established dealership network all across the country. As a leading road equipment manufacturer in India, Apollo Inffratech continues to innovate by integrating advanced technology into its construction solutions.
The vision of providing complete concrete equipment solutions promoted him to have a foreign collaboration for various concrete equipment. In 2011-12, the first JV Company was established with world’s leading Concrete Pipe making machine manufacturer HawkeyePedershaab (USA) called Apollo HawkeyePedershaab Concrete Technologies Pvt. Ltd(AHCT). By collaborating with international brands, Apollo Inffratech strengthened its position as one of the most trusted road construction machinery manufacturers in India. Within couple of years, one more JV was announced with Metalgalante, Italy (world leader in self-loading mixers)called Apollo Carmix Equipments Pvt. Ltd [ACEL]. Recently, Apollo Inffratech has announced yet another JV company with Zenith (one of the largest manufacturers of Automatic Block Making Machines) called Apollo Zenith Concrete Technologies Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Mitul credits his maternal uncle, Mr. Kiran Patel, director of Apollo Inffratech Group in helping him to collaborate with all the foreign partners. The growing demand for durable infrastructure has propelled construction equipment manufacturers in Gujarat to focus on cutting-edge technology and innovation.
